Prof. Vera Ostreni graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Tirana, in General Medicine, specializing in Neurology and Clinical Laboratory. From 1985 to 1992, she held the position of the regular doctor in the neuropsychiatric clinic. From 1988 to 2012, she was engaged as a full-time lecturer in the Morphology Department of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Tirana. Since 2005 and on wards she has been engaged at Albanian University in lecturing the courses of Histology in the Department of Dentistry. From 2010 and onwards, she headed the Bachelor degree teaching programs of Nursing and Physiotherapy and the Master Degree program in Surgical Nursing. In September 2012 she was appointed as Deputy Rector for the teaching process. After two years of experience as deputy director, at the beginning of the academic year 2014-2015, she was appointed at the position of the Rector at Albanian University.

In 2011, Akademic Emeritus Anesti Kondili, was appointed as Deputy Rector for Policies and the Institutional Development. Since 2012 he has been appointed as Deputy Rector. During 2012 he has participated in the organization and development of specialization programs that starting from 2012 are held at the Department of Dentistry of this University.

Prof. Assoc. Dr. Aida Dama graduated in 2008 from the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Studies, Florence, Italy. In 2012, at this university, she defended her thesis, obtaining the title Ph.D. ("Doctor of Science"), at the Department of Experimental and Clinical Medicine, University of Studies, Florenze, Italy. In 2012, Prof. Dr. Assoc. Dr. Aida Dama was engaged at Albanian University (AU) as a full-time lecturer at the Faculty of Medical Sciences and Coordinator of the Ph.D. program. In 2013 onwards she was engaged as the Head of Pharmacy Department at this university, and at the beginning of the academic year 2016-2017 she was appointed Deputy Rector for the Teaching Process at AU. Prof. Assoc. Dr Aida Dama has reached an intensive pedagogical and research activity. She is the initiator and organizer of many scientific collaborative activities with local and foreign universities and professors in the field of medical sciences and author of many scientific articles published in national and international journals.

Dr. Med. Science Erda Qorri graduated from the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy at the Dental Medicine University "Carol Davila" in Bucharest in 2004. She completed her post-graduate studies as a Specialist in Oral Surgery at the University Hospital "Dan Theodoresu" in Bucharest, and in 2013 received the Doctor of Science Degree in Dentistry Department of Parodontology in Bucharest, where it presented with the highest rate on the topic: "Gingivar Retraction. Clinical Forms and Treatment Modalities ". From 2010 onward she is part of the academic staff at Albanian University and lecturer of Oro – Maksilo – Facial Surgery, and Oral Medicine. In 2013 she became coordinator and member of the editorial board of the "Optime" scientific journal. She is the Scientific Coordinator of the School of Specialization at Albanian University in Oral Surgery, Oro-Maksilo-Facial Surgery, Implantology and Dr. Med. Science Erda Qorri is co-author of published books abroad and author of many articles published in national and international journals and has participated and organized a National and International Dental Scientific Conference giving scientific contribution to the field of dentistry.
Prof. Assoc. Dr. Remzi Sulo

Prof. Assoc. Remzi Sulo graduated from the Faculty of Economics at the Agricultural University of Tirana in 1978 profiling in "Accounting" and in 2000 obtained the Master's Degree in Management at Montesquieu University Bordeaux IV in France. He received the "Doctor of Science" degree in 1987 from the Agricultural University of Tirana and the title "Associate Professor" in 2013. In addition to the Academic Advancement Prof. Assoc. Remzi Sulo is a member of the Institute of Approved Accounting Experts and has numerous specializations and training at home and abroad. Since 2006 he has been engaged as a lecturer for the courses of Accounting in the Finance-Banking department, department which he headed from 2012 to 2014. After the reorganization of the institution in 2015 and the establishment of the Faculty of Applied Sciences and Economics he was appointed as the Dean of this Faculty.

Prof. Dr. Kaliopi Naska, graduated in 1975 at the University of Tirana, Faculty of History and Philology, specialty "History - Geography". In 1994 she received the title of Doctor of Historical Sciences, and in 2005 the academic title "Professor".
She has worked as a Science Officer at the Institute of History at the Academy of Sciences, deputy director of the Central State Archive, deputy rector and dean of the Faculty of Political Sciences at Illyria University in Tirana, as well as a full-time lecturer in "Academic Writing" "Political and Administrative Systems in Albania", "State and Legal History in Albania".
In 1998 she completed the International Archives Internship in Paris and in 2000-2002 she was appointed as the Director of the BIEF Center (program of the Francophone Intergovernmental Agency) for Albania.
Since 2012, she is engaged as a lecturer at the Department of Political and Administrative Sciences at "Albanian University" and in October 2018 was appointed Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences at Albanian University.
Her field of research is the study of Albania's history and documentation. She is the author of a series of works in the field of national independence history. She has published a series of articles and papers in scientific journals at home and abroad. She has participated in national and international scientific conferences and various higher education institutions, contributing to numerous publications and lectures. By decision no.36, dated 23.05.2000, she received the title of the "Research Master".
Dr. Gilberta Hadaj

Dr. Gilberta Hadaj is graduated in Albanian language and Literature, Master of Science in Modern Language and obtains a Doctoral Degree in Linguistics at the Faculty of History and Philology, University of Tirana, in September 2017. From 2012 onward she has been involved as full-time lecturer on the Albanian Language course at the Department of Education and English, Albanian University.
Dr. Gilberta Hadaj has participated as author and co-author at numerous conferences, seminars and other national and international scientific and academic activities. She is a collaborator in international projects as well as author of many articles published in scientific journals at home and abroad. Dr. Gilberta Hadaj is currently in the process of publishing at the Albanian Academy of Sciences a monography titled "Impacts in Albanian Wordforms".
Dr. Elisabeta Kafia

Dr. Elisabeta Kafia completed the doctoral studies for Psychology-Pedagogy at the University of Tirana in April 2015, with the highest evaluation from the evaluation committee. The field of expertise of Dr. Kafia is the psychological and pedagogical treatment of children with disabilities and general education. During her doctoral studies Dr. Kafia was highly engaged in scientific and research activities at home and abroad. In addition, Dr. Kafia has considerable experience in public administration and international defense co-operation. She is currently a full-time lecturer and the Head of Department of General Psychology at Albanian University. Dr. Kafia is also a part-time lecturer at the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Tirana.

Prof. Assoc. Dr. Manuela Mece is a key and team leading expert on business start-up and business-related programs, market analysis, strategic planning, policy drafting, stakeholder coordination, monitoring and evaluation of economic and development programs at national and regional level.
She has full experience in facilitating cooperation with local and regional governments and local private businesses.
She is a lecturer of Management, Marketing and Consumer Behavior, Business Communication, Business Ethics, Developmental Economics, Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management, courses at Public Universities (Tirana University) and Private Universities (UET, UMT, AU) since 1987 and onwards. Extended scientific research expertise as well as doctorate studies in marketing and consumer behavior. She is an Associate Professor of Management.
Researcher and a Development Professional with over 17 years of experience in managing, coordinating and managing economic development projects in NGOs, local businesses and local governments focusing on innovative businesses, gender and youth engagement at regional and national level in Eastern Europe and Albania. She has a consolidated experience in team and staff development, negotiation with partners and strategic development for the involvement of donors / stakeholders in the local agenda.
She obtains research expertise in the coordination and drafting of strategies and policy documents, such as Fair Buy, Fare trade (Oxfam policy brief); Regional Strategies for Tirana and Vlora, Poverty Assessment with Participation Methods (Oxfam GB), World Bank Policy Approach 2003; Market Research for Higher Education (for the Technical Institute Harry Fultz), Study on the Economic Program for Women in Albania (for UNDP) and Tajikistan (for Oxfam GB), conducting research, analysis and Writing the Gender Sensitivity Report on Skills in the Agricultural processing, Tourism and ICT sector in Albania, Drafting a United Nations Women's Action Plan on Economic Empowerment of Women and Initiating six Social Business enterprises under this action, writing and contributing to the strategy for local government and territorial reform in Albania.

Dr. Ismail Tafani completed his doctoral studies in Italy at the University of Bologna in June 2014, with the highest points from the evaluation commission. Dr. Tafani graduated in Law from the University of Bologna. The field of expertise of Dr. Tafanit is the "Constitutional Law". During the doctoral studies Dr. Tafani collaborated as an assistant at the Constitutional Law Department, in its research and didactic activity, in cooperation with Prof. Luca Mezzetti and Prof. Michele Belletti, under the leadership of Prof. Andrea Morrone. The collaboration as an assistant Dr. Tafani started with Prof. Susanna Mancini, during the defense of his master's degree in Comparative Public Law, at the University of Bologna. Currently he is a full-time lecturer and Head of the Department of Legal Sciences.

Dr. Doriana Pano has completed her doctoral studies in the field of History and International Relations at the Faculty of History-Philology, University of Tirana, in April 2017, with the highest evaluation by the evaluation committee. From 2006 onwards she is a full-time lecturer at the Department of Political and Administrative Sciences. From 2017, she was appointed as the head the Department of Political and Administrative Sciences, part of the Faculty of Social Sciences at "Albanian University".
Dr. Doriana Pano is the author and co-author of a monography and university textbook, author of several articles published in national and international journals and participant in many scientific conferences at home and abroad.
Prof. Assoc. Dr. Fisnik Kadiu

Prof. Assoc. Dr. Fisnik Kadiu graduated in 1970, at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, the Polytechnic University of Tirana. In 1979 he obtained the "Doctor of Science" degree and the title "Associate Professor" in 1994. His scientific research interests include scientific and experimental research related to the study of raw materials for the production of materials in-process and ready-made construction, including chemical, physical, thermal and mechanical laboratory and chemical analysis and testing. From 2017 onwards he is appointed the head of the Department of Architecture at Albanian University but his teaching activity started in 1976 at Faculty of Engineering, UPT.
Prof. Kadiu has a 47-year experience in administrative work, research and teaching. He has worked at ISTN, NN Durrës Port, and during his academic experience he has supevised many scientific dissertations, as well as has led thesis and has been a lecturer at the doctoral and postgraduate school in Faculty of Civil Engineering; Assessment leader and Technical Assessor at the Accreditation Directorate since 2008; Chair of the Eurocode Technical Committee at DPS (2010-2015) and Chair of the Technical Committee of Laboratories at the Directorate of Accreditation.
He has participated in symposiums and conferences, seminars and other scientific activities at home and abroad, collaborator in national projects, publications of scientific articles at home and abroad, 3 textbooks of university level and speaker in various conferences. Co-founder of several syllabus and curricula for Faculty of Engineering, UPT.

Dr. Xhejni Borshi has completed her studies at the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Florence, Italy in July 2008.
She then defended her doctoral degree and received the Ph.D. ("Doctor of Science"), at the Department of Clinical Medicine and Public Health at the University of Studies of Aquileia, Italy. Since 2015 Dr. Xhejni Borshi is engaged in Albanian University (AU) as a full-time lecturer at the Faculty of Medical Sciences. In 2017 and onward she is engaged as the Head of Department of Nursing and Physiotherapy at this University. Dr. Borshi has a rich academic and scientific research activity, as well as author and co-author of many scientific articles published in national and international journals. She has organized many national and international scientific conferences, in collaboration with local and foreign partner universities.

Dr. Med. Science Nilena Eriksen (Nasi) graduated from the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy of the Dental Medicine University "Carol Davila" in Bucharest in 2001. In 2005, after finishing her postgraduate studies, she received the title of the Specialist Doctor in General Dentistry, and in 2007 received the title Doctor of Medical Sciences, Department of Pedodonty, Faculty of Dental Medicine, University of Medicine and Pharmacy "Carol Davila", Bucharest, where she defended the PhD thesis entitled "Contributions to clinical framework and treatment of complicated caries in level of temporary molars ".
In 2008-2010, she has been engaged as an external lecturer at the Faculty of Medical Sciences, Albanian University to return to 2013 as a full-time lecturer for the Pediatric Dentistry and Nutrition cources. Since 2018, she is in charge of the Department of Dentistry Department of the Faculty of Medical Sciences at Albanian University.
Dr. Med. Science Nilena Eriksen is the author of two publications in Romanian, as well as a co-author of various scientific articles, published in Albania and abroad. In addition she has participated in many National Dental Scientific Conferences.

Dr. Kleva Shpati completed her studies at the University of Tirana, Faculty of Medicine, Department of Pharmacy. In 2003, at the Faculty of Medicine, she completed her postgraduate studies in Pharmaceutical Sciences and in 2013 earned the "Doctor" degree at the same University with the thesis "Biopharmaceutical Aspects of the Use of Statins in our Country". In 2007, Dr. Kleva Shpati completed the "Insitute Francais de Gestion" Master Degree at the University of Bordeaux in collaboration with the Polytechnic University of Tirana. Since 2007, Dr. Kleva Shpati is a full-time professor at the Department of Pharmacy, Albanian University, and since March 2018 up to date holds the position of Head of Pharmacy Department. Dr. Kleva Shpati is the author of several publications of scientific articles and participant in national and international conferences, as well as co-author of the book for the students of medical sciences and pharmaceuticals "Bio-pharmacy and Pharma-concientics".

From the end of 2010 to June 2011 she worked at the Motor Institute in Naples, part of the National Center for Scientific Research in Italy. From November 2013 to September 2014, she worked as a lecturer and head of the Department of Engineering at the Faculty of Applied Sciences and Economics of Albanian University. For two years she was engaged as a full-time lecturer at the University of Elbasan "Aleksandër Xhuvani". From November 2016 she returned as lecturer and Head of Department of Engineering at Albanian University.

Dr. Besjana Tosuni (Mema) is a graduate of Mathematics-Physics, and Master of Science in Applied Mathematics in 2011 at the University of Elbasan. In September 2017, she completed her doctoral studies in Management Information Systems at the U.E. of Tirana, with excellent evaluation. During the period 2012-2018, she was engaged as a part-time lecturer at “Alexander Xhuvani” University for math courses at the Faculty of Natural Sciences. Since 2017 onwards she has been a full-time lecturer at the Department of Engineering of Albanian University.

Dr. Desara Agaj graduated from Faculty of Social Sciences in University of Tirana in the field of Organizational/School Psychology in 2010. She obtained the scientific degree “Doctor of Science” in the field of Psychology in the same University in 2016. Since 2010 she is a full-time lecturer in the Department of General Psychology of Albanian University. During 2010- 2014, she was a part-time lecturer in the University of Shkoder “Luigj Gurakuqi”. She is head of Internal Quality Assurance Unit in Albanian University for four years.
Dr. Desara Agaj is a co-author of the textbook “Developmental Psychology for special needs children”, published in March 2018, as well as co-author of cycle of lectures “Special Education, published in 2014. Dr. Desara Agaj has attended national and international conference, participated in training and various projects. She is author of several scientific papers published in national and international journals. Currently, she is a member of the Editorial Board of “OPTIME” Journal.

She is a lecturer of Management, Marketing and Consumer Behavior, Business Communication, Business Ethics, Developmental Economics, Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management, courses at Public Universities (Tirana University) and Private Universities (UET, UMT, AU) since 1987 and onwards. Extended scientific research expertise as well as doctorate studies in marketing and consumer behavior. She is an Associate Professor of Management.
Researcher and a Development Professional with over 17 years of experience in managing, coordinating and managing economic development projects in NGOs, local businesses and local governments focusing on innovative businesses, gender and youth engagement at regional and national level in Eastern Europe and Albania. She has a consolidated experience in team and staff development, negotiation with partners and strategic development for the involvement of donors / stakeholders in the local agenda.

Dr. Ismail Tafani

Dr. Tafani graduated in Law from the University of Bologna. The field of expertise of Dr. Tafanit is the "Constitutional Law". During the doctoral studies Dr. Tafani collaborated as an assistant at the Constitutional Law Department, in its research and didactic activity, in cooperation with Prof. Luca Mezzetti and Prof. Michele Belletti, under the leadership of Prof. Andrea Morrone. The collaboration as an assistant Dr. Tafani started with Prof. Susanna Mancini, during the defense of his master's degree in Comparative Public Law, at the University of Bologna. Currently he is a full-time lecturer and Head of the Department of Legal Sciences.
Dr. Doriana Pano

From 2017, she was appointed as the head the Department of Political and Administrative Sciences, part of the Faculty of Social Sciences at "Albanian University".
Dr. Doriana Pano is the author and co-author of a monography and university textbook, author of several articles published in national and international journals and participant in many scientific conferences at home and abroad.
Prof. Assoc. Dr. Fisnik Kadiu
Head of the Architecture Department

In 1979 he obtained the "Doctor of Science" degree and the title "Associate Professor" in 1994. His scientific research interests include scientific and experimental research related to the study of raw materials for the production of materials in-process and ready-made construction, including chemical, physical, thermal and mechanical laboratory and chemical analysis and testing. From 2017 onwards he is appointed the head of the Department of Architecture at Albanian University but his teaching activity started in 1976 at Faculty of Engineering, UPT.
Prof. Kadiu has a 47-year experience in administrative work, research and teaching. He has worked at ISTN, NN Durrës Port, and during his academic experience he has supevised many scientific dissertations, as well as has led thesis and has been a lecturer at the doctoral and postgraduate school in Faculty of Civil Engineering; Assessment leader and Technical Assessor at the Accreditation Directorate since 2008; Chair of the Eurocode Technical Committee at DPS (2010-2015) and Chair of the Technical Committee of Laboratories at the Directorate of Accreditation.
He has participated in symposiums and conferences, seminars and other scientific activities at home and abroad, collaborator in national projects, publications of scientific articles at home and abroad, 3 textbooks of university level and speaker in various conferences. Co-founder of several syllabus and curricula for Faculty of Engineering, UPT.
Dr. Xhejni Borshi

She then defended her doctoral degree and received the Ph.D. ("Doctor of Science"), at the Department of Clinical Medicine and Public Health at the University of Studies of Aquileia, Italy. Since 2015 Dr. Xhejni Borshi is engaged in Albanian University (AU) as a full-time lecturer at the Faculty of Medical Sciences. In 2017 and onward she is engaged as the Head of Department of Nursing and Physiotherapy at this University. Dr. Borshi has a rich academic and scientific research activity, as well as author and co-author of many scientific articles published in national and international journals. She has organized many national and international scientific conferences, in collaboration with local and foreign partner universities.
Dr. Med. Science Nilena Eriksen

In 2005, after finishing her postgraduate studies, she received the title of the Specialist Doctor in General Dentistry, and in 2007 received the title Doctor of Medical Sciences, Department of Pedodonty, Faculty of Dental Medicine, University of Medicine and Pharmacy "Carol Davila", Bucharest, where she defended the PhD thesis entitled "Contributions to clinical framework and treatment of complicated caries in level of temporary molars ".
In 2008-2010, she has been engaged as an external lecturer at the Faculty of Medical Sciences, Albanian University to return to 2013 as a full-time lecturer for the Pediatric Dentistry and Nutrition cources. Since 2018, she is in charge of the Department of Dentistry Department of the Faculty of Medical Sciences at Albanian University.
Dr. Med. Science Nilena Eriksen is the author of two publications in Romanian, as well as a co-author of various scientific articles, published in Albania and abroad. In addition she has participated in many National Dental Scientific Conferences.
Dr. Kleva Shpati

In 2003, at the Faculty of Medicine, she completed her postgraduate studies in Pharmaceutical Sciences and in 2013 earned the "Doctor" degree at the same University with the thesis "Biopharmaceutical Aspects of the Use of Statins in our Country". In 2007, Dr. Kleva Shpati completed the "Insitute Francais de Gestion" Master Degree at the University of Bordeaux in collaboration with the Polytechnic University of Tirana. Since 2007, Dr. Kleva Shpati is a full-time professor at the Department of Pharmacy, Albanian University, and since March 2018 up to date holds the position of Head of Pharmacy Department. Dr. Kleva Shpati is the author of several publications of scientific articles and participant in national and international conferences, as well as co-author of the book for the students of medical sciences and pharmaceuticals "Bio-pharmacy and Pharma-concientics".
Dr. Genta Rexha

From the end of 2010 to June 2011 she worked at the Motor Institute in Naples, part of the National Center for Scientific Research in Italy. From November 2013 to September 2014, she worked as a lecturer and head of the Department of Engineering at the Faculty of Applied Sciences and Economics of Albanian University. For two years she was engaged as a full-time lecturer at the University of Elbasan "Aleksandër Xhuvani". From November 2016 she returned as lecturer and Head of Department of Engineering at Albanian University.
Dr. Besjana Tosuni

During the period 2012-2018, she was engaged as a part-time lecturer at “Alexander Xhuvani” University for math courses at the Faculty of Natural Sciences. Since 2017 onwards she has been a full-time lecturer at the Department of Engineering of Albanian University.

Dr.Desara Agaj

She obtained the scientific degree “Doctor of Science” in the field of Psychology in the same University in 2016. Since 2010 she is a full-time lecturer in the Department of General Psychology of Albanian University. During 2010- 2014, she was a part-time lecturer in the University of Shkoder “Luigj Gurakuqi”. She is head of Internal Quality Assurance Unit in Albanian University for four years.
Dr. Desara Agaj is a co-author of the textbook “Developmental Psychology for special needs children”, published in March 2018, as well as co-author of cycle of lectures “Special Education, published in 2014. Dr. Desara Agaj has attended national and international conference, participated in training and various projects. She is author of several scientific papers published in national and international journals. Currently, she is a member of the Editorial Board of “OPTIME” Journal.
